Short presentation of current research

Previous and Current research

She was research assistant at the Department of General Epidemiology of the Institute of Pharmacological Research “Mario Negri” from September 2005 to May2008 and visiting student at the International Agency for Research on Cancer, Environmental Cancer Epidemiology Group, Lion (France) from May 2008 to August 2008.

From May 2006 to May 2012 she was research assistant and from April 2012 research Associate at the Unit of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Public Health of the Department of Statistics and Quantitative Methods, University of Milan-Bicocca.

Her research interests concern statistical methods applied to pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics. Currently her interests focus in the conduction of pharmacoepidemiological and pharmacoepidemiological studies using data derived from automated healthcare databases.

She is the author of 44 publications in international journals (with impact factor) and she contributed to the proceedings of 10 national and international conferences. She is active in several European project funded under the European Union Seventh Framework Program: EU-ADR (2008-2011): “Early Detection of Adverse Drug Events by Integrative Mining of Clinical Records and Biomedical Knowledge”; SOS (2008-2011): “Safety of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs”; SAFEGUARD (2011-2014): “Safety Evaluation of Adverse Reactions in Diabetes ”.
