Previous and Current research
He had work experience in the Mario Negri Institute of Milan during an internship period (June 2010 – January 2011).
Since November 2010 works as a research assistant for the Unit of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Public Health, where he collaborated with the other Unit’s members to the European project SOS – Safety of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (2008-2011), funded under the 7th framework program. He also provide statistical support to the Unit’s other research activities. He is a member of the Italian Society of Medical Statistics and Clinical Epidemiology (SISMEC – Società Italiana di Statistica Medica ed Epidemiologia Clinica) and a Student Member of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE).
Currently, his interests concern the methodological aspects of biostatistics and epidemiological research. In particular he is focusing on causal inference methods, such as instrumental variables for the control of unmeasured confounding in observational studies.
Current student in the M.Sc in Biostatistics and Experimental Statistics program, University of Milan-Bicocca.
